Speakers

    • Dr Julia Murray
      Dr Julia Murray

    Consultant clinical oncologist at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and an honorary clinical senior lecturer at The Institute of Cancer Research, London, specialising in radiotherapy and systemic therapy for prostate cancer.

    Dr Murray graduated from Imperial College London in 2004 and undertook her general medical training in London. Her specialist clinical oncology training was completed at The Royal Marsden, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and St Luke’s Cancer Centre. In 2013, Dr Murray was awarded a Cancer Research UK PhD Fellowship at The Institute of Cancer Research and The Royal Marsden, evaluating image-guided prostate radiotherapy and the relationship between radiation dose and toxicity. She received her PhD in 2017 and was appointed as a consultant clinical oncologist in the urology unit at The Royal Marsden later that year. She is actively involved in clinical research of advanced radiotherapy technology to improve treatment accuracy and patient outcomes. She is also a trustee of the British Uro-oncology Group.

      Dr Amy Eccles

    Consultant Radionuclide Radiologist and Clinical Lead for Nuclear Medicine at The London Clinic.

    Dr Eccles has a specialist interest in nuclear medicine imaging and therapy, including hybrid and neuro-endocrine imaging (SPECT/PET-CT) for both oncology and musculoskeletal conditions.
