A Personal Note

Outside medicine, Simon is an international TukTuk racer and motoring enthusiast. He won the inaugural “Dumball Rally – India” in 2018 driving a Hindustan Ambassador and is currently restoring a 1975 Lancia Fulvia for the planned Peking–Paris Rally in 2031, a long‑term project he cheerfully acknowledges “needs a lot of work.” He brings the same sense of adventure, teamwork and curiosity to his life on the road as he does to his clinical practice, research and educational leadership.
